Danek Anthony is headed by Don Dominczuk. He started Danek Anthony in 1998 after a successful partnership with Derhak Ireland & Partners with whom he continues his collaborative relationship. He continues to be a hands-on player, continually working to ensure the completion of projects and the satisfaction of clients.
Prior to his career in professional search, Don served as Director, Human Resources at Jacuzzi Canada assisting the executive team in establishing such brands as Broil King barbeques, Jacuzzi spas and whirlpools, Jacuzzi pumps, Jacuzzi swim pool equipment, Eljer water closets, and Universal Gym equipment. He was also the Manager, Employee Services at Joy Manufacturing Canada Ltd., known for its diverse manufacturing and fabrication operations in construction compressors, hard rock drilling technology, and commercial and military-grade electrical cabling.
In these positions, he played key roles in labour negotiations, performance and organizational design, advanced manufacturing systems, fixed and variable payment plans, talent acquisition and retention, work and health safety as well as benefits and pension installation and planning.
Don attended University of Waterloo’s graduate school in social sciences and undergraduate school. He is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and holds a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. He is also certified with the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance and the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation.
